NF-A14 ULN
Each set of fans was tested directly against the NF-P14 fans that I had installed on the side-panel of my Cooler Master HAF XM case. The reasoning behind deciding to install the fans on the side is quite simple. With the fans on the side, they are strategically placed in an area where their airflow will flow across the CPU, GPU, and motherboard all at the same time.
"The NF-A14 ULN is by far the quietest of all the fans tested today, and also proves that its cooling prowess is not lost with the noise. These are the fans that I would personally choose if installing these fans into either a work case, or a silent PC, such as an HTPC. The noise level without any adaptors is nearly silent, and once you install one of the L.N.A. adaptors, the fan will be completely inaudible." (DJ Dixon, Go!GamingGiant)
