FAQ: Can the cooler be installed turned by 90° on AMD sockets?

Changing the orientation on AMD AM4 is not possible using the included mounting parts. However, it is possible using the optional NM-AMB5 (for coolers with 83mm mounting pitch) or NM-AMB6 (for coolers with 78mm mounting pitch) mounting bars. These are included with the NM-AM4 (for coolers with 83mm mounting pitch) and NM-AM4-UxS (for coolers with 78mm mounting pitch) kits or can be requested via support@noctua.at (please include an electronic version or scan of your invoice as proof of purchase).
