Spinning at 1,300rpm, the NH-D14 kept our Core i7-975 Extreme (overclocked to 4 GHz) running at 32 degrees Celsius when idle and 72 degrees Celsius under the load of eight threads of Prime95. That's two degrees cooler at idle and six degrees cooler under load than Noctua's own NH-U12P.
