NH-C12P SE14
The replacement of the original 120mm fan with the SE14 140mm fan in the new model, reduces temperatures under load by 2°C with no noticeable increase in noise levels. The gap between the NH-C12P SE14 and the NH-U12P is now at 5°C, almost half of which can be put down to the second 120mm fan on the NH-U12P. [...] As is usual with Noctua noise performance is excellent. The specifications show a slight decrease in noise from 19.8 dB(A) on the NF-P12 fan to 19.6 dB(A) on the NF-P14 FLX, I can't really differentiate any quieter sound, but sound levels are very low even running at full speed whilst testing. That's quite an achievement when airflow has increased by almost 20% from 92.3 m³/h to 110.3 m³/h.
"Matching the NF-P14 FLX with the already proven Noctua NH-C12P has given an extra lift of 2°C in cooling performance under load, without any downsides. The larger fan doesn't obstruct anything, is slightly quieter on paper and certainly no nosier in actual operation." (Chris Smith, Clunk.org.uk)
