Noctua NH-D14 performs remarkably well maintaining temps below Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme which is considered one of the best air coolers in the market so far. Noise is also very low despite the 2 fans. We must also admit that the two included fans (NF-P12 and NF-P14 )and the NT-H1 thermal paste make this cooler very attractive despite the relatively high price. The combination of NF-P12 and NF-P14 proved to be very effective, since I had better temps than with two same 12cm fans. Also the noise levels were lower. One more benefit of the 14cm fan is that it has also some airflow below the fins and can also cool other components(VRM,ram etc) if needed without the need to add more fans.
