With a little overclocking the results are a mirror of the stock results with the NH-D14 outperforming the CNPS9900LED by 3 degrees. I like to touch on noise and while I don’t have any equipment to measure noise the NH-D14 is quite silent to my ears and was not heard over the noise of the other components during testing. The nice thing is that if you do think the fans are a bit too noisy you can easily use the Low noise and ultra low noise adapters that Noctua includes. From the moment I opened the packaging for Noctua’s NH-D14 I was impressed by the quality of the cooler. The bundled accessories, impressive size and outstanding performance make it clear that Noctua has put a solid product together that can satisfy even the hardcore user.
