NH-D14
At stock, the load temperature values of the i7 920 are much lower than any other air cooler we have tested. The NH-D14 beats the Venomous X by 3.5 degrees Celsius and beats the CoolIT ECO A.L.C by up to 12 degrees depending on the fan configuration! For one cooler to come and outperform another cooler by such a large amount is astonishing. [...] Now these are the values we’ve been waiting for, load temperature at 4GHZ! Well, the NH-D14 shocked us. The NH-D14 kept our CPU nice and cool, peaking at a figure of 67 degrees Celsius. This is a whopping 7.5 degrees cooler than the CoolIT ECO A.L.C with stock fans and 5.5 degrees cooler than the Venomous X with aftermarket fans! Woah, we didn’t see that coming. It has left the competition miles behind and will be replacing the Venomous X in benching PC we use!
