NH-C14
This cooler was tested against Thermalright Venomous X. Fans used for both coolers are Noctua NF-P14. To record load temperatures I ran Prime 95 (Blend) for 20mins. Honestly speaking I wasn’t expecting this top-down cooler which is actually built for low profile systems to come this close to Thermalright’s top dog in terms of performance. This cooler isn’t the best air cooler available in the market right now but it surely gives a bit more than what its meant to give. You get a lot of cooling performance for a cooler that is actually designed to be used in small rigs made for light gaming or may be an HTPC. Furthermore, it’s extremely easy to install, it’s well-built and it’s extremely silent. These are the things Noctua coolers give for sure. It comes with a rich accessory package, dual NF-P14 fans, L.N.A/U.L.N.A adapters and NT-H1 premium thermal compound add a lot of the value to the deal.
"Noctua NH-C14 retails for 90USD, now that’s bit on the higher side but you, get what you pay for – premium quality, functionality and performance." (Afaq Shahid, Pakgamers.com)
