NH-D14
Hailing all the way back from 2009, it has returned to let other current manufacturers know that they still have some work to do if they want to reach the levels Noctua was hitting over a year ago. The Noctua NH-D14's fantastic performance raised the bar and ensured difficulty for others to compete in the future. Although the large size might lead to installation issues, they were easily remedied. The included fans even when ran at full speed are ridiculously quiet, making this cooler our #1 choice. For us choosing between the NH-D14 and the NH-C14 would be like choosing a favorite child. Beating every in-house cooler I have tested, we can quickly and easily recommend this cooler for everyone, even those looking to reach the maximum performance their system can offer. Noctua has impressed us again, and thanks to it's superior performance, and the ultra-easy to use SecuFirm2 mounting system, we've found a new cooler to use on our test bench. Noctua whispers their way to victory again!
