NH-D14
We used the above mentioned test setup for our testing procedures. The Intel stock cooler while running the CPU at a stock frequency of 3.2GHz held the CPU at 60°C under load, while the Noctua NH-D14 reached 48°C. These numbers under idle was about 43°C with Intel stock, and 32°C with Noctua NH-D14. After that we also tested it with the overclock that we were able to achieve, and it was 4.0GHz. The idle temperature under 4.0GHZ and 1.3V was about 48°C for Intel stock and 36°C for the NH-D14. On the other hand load measures were 80°C for Intel stock and 64°C using the Noctua.
"I had heard a lot of good things about the Noctua’s coolers, and I went into the review with huge expectations, and to be honest those expectations were easily exceeded. It showed impressive performance in all tests, and not to forget to mention that it is very silent." (Erkan Tairi, FunkyKit.com)
