NF-F12 PWM
Noctua, in my opinion, is probably the most innovative company when it comes to fans and coolers alike. If we just look at the fans, I can honestly say that there aren’t many companies implementing as many features as Noctua out of the gate. Noctua spends a lot of money on R&D and it shows, with features like the Stepped Inlet design, SSO2 bearing, Focused flow frame, Varying angular distance and Vortex notches, inner surface micro structures and a newly designed PWM IC with SCD. Each and every feature Noctua seems to cram into their fans is based on two premises: 1) Silence and 2) Functionality.
"Overall the Noctua NF-F12 is a deal at $25US when you look at all the technology being put into it. Although the price may be a stumbling block for some, it really should be put on your short list if you’re in the market for a reliable, long lasting, quiet fan. Considering the NF-F12 has a life span of 150,000 hrs, it will outlast the majority of other fans on the market with the same basic specifications. Couple all the features with its long life and a massive 6 year manufacturer’s warranty all bundled up in a nice, neat little package and it should really make the NF-F12 PWM look all that more appealing."
