As you can tell the Noctua seriously outperformed the stock Asus cooling system. But who would have figured it wouldn't. Totally defeating the stock cooler by eight degrees or more throughout the testing is no small feat however and Noctua deserve to be congratulated. Not only did it do better in temps but I was also able to bypass my FSB wall of 485MHz.
"The Noctua NC-U6 is a great alternative to the stock cooling of any board. Especially if you intend on overclocking and supplying above recommended voltages to your north bridge. Not only does is it able to keep temps under control, chances are that it will also allow a little bit more headroom in the overclocking spectrum. The greatest thing about it all, the above is done without using any noisy fans. So, you are able to maintain that quiet environment.
