NH-D14 SE2011
The design is unchanged from the original, which of course isn't a knock on this cooler. If you have a good thing going, why change it? Nocta simply adapted the mounting system to work with the high-output LGA2011 platform. It's really a testament to the original design that it can remain unchanged and still cool Intel's latest enthusiast system efficiently. As before, installation is a snap but with LGA2011, it's even easier as there is no backplate to install. The heatsink mounts directly to the CPU socket so you won't have to remove your motherboard to swap to the SE2011. I was able to get the sink mounted in under 10 minutes.
"Much like the original NH-D14, the SE2011 model left us thoroughly impressed at the end of the day. If a massive air cooler with silent fans if what you are after, look no further - Noctua has you covered." (Shawn Knight, OverClock Intelligence Agency)
