NH-L12
There’s a lot of data here, but crucially, the NH-L12 is able to sufficiently cool a fully loaded 3770K on an open bench with a single fan in LNA mode. As you’ll soon see, this is extremely quiet, and suitable for use in a small form factor silent PC. With dual fans, it goes as low as 76 celsius, which is slightly hotter than the HUGE Noctua NH-D14 in single fan LNA mode.
"If you are building a high performance small form factor system though, you need to consider that things like coolers and cases will be considerably more expensive. If you are prepared to spend the cash, the NH-L12 will serve you well." (Carl Nelson, hardCOREware.net)
