NH-L12
We can see why Noctua recommend using this cooler in dual-fan configuration easily, with low-profile mode of the NH-L12 only 5 degrees cooler than the stock HSF. Adding the second fan gives a large boost in cooling performance, dropping it another 14 degrees, a 29% decrease in temperatures over the stock HSF and a very good day to day temperatures. The stock cooler took around 9 minutes to returm to near idle temperatures, where the NH-L12 took around 3 minutes in both single and dual fan configuration. Not bad at all for silent fan profile.
