NF-F12 PWM
We used the NF-F12 PWM in a variety of locations within out test rig, but we paid special attention to how it performed while attached to the radiator on our liquid cooling system. [...] Thermal performance of our system was not affected over a significant test period. We allowed the test rig to sit idle for around 20 minutes, then ran a torture test on the processor for 40 minutes, before allowing it to sit idle for a further 20 minutes. At no point was the temperature of our system noticeably higher than with our stock fans, yet the Noctua units typically ran slower and quieter throughout the test. When we began to use the low noise adapter we ran into some issues with getting the fans to spin up at all.
"In terms of performance, we’ve not found many fans that are on the same levels as Noctua’s offerings. The NF-F12 PWM is no exception to this rule. It does an excellent job of cooling your system without generating anything more than a modest amount of noise." (Matt Bowes, techmadeeasy.co.uk)
