These results were so unbelievable that I retested multiple times and came up with the same numbers – 58º max. So what is the secret behind a 92mm cooler with a height of only 37mm and its ability to cool better than half of the tower coolers we have tested? I thought about this over a few days just looking at the cooler and have come up with a few reasons. First is materials used in the manufacturing of this cooler, even with its small compact size when you pick it up for the first time you will quickly realize that this isn’t a cheap aluminum cooler and at 420g it weighs as much as a lot of tower coolers on the market. My second thought is the fan, we just reviewed the A9x14 from Noctua last week and already it’s been put to use on a low profile cooler. If you remember this fan was capable of more airflow than half the 120mm fans in our charts, which truly says something about the technology that goes into the smallest details over at Noctua.
"In conclusion I would definitely recommend this cooler to anyone who wants low profile with zero tolerance for noise." (Tyler Bernath, RWLabs.com)
