NF-S12A FLX,NF-S12A PWM,NF-S12A ULN
As expected the new NF-S12A is quieter than the NF-S12B. For the 3 years of R&D work on the new fans Noctua have been rewarded with an excellent product with features like the Anti-Stall knobs that are revolutionary for the industry. The FLX and PWM edition work in quite similar way – you can’t really hear the difference. And of course, the ULN one works a bit different due to the low rpm levels. ULN is recommended for noise sensitive applications and I can definitely recommend it. As I already stated it on a few occasions, the new NF-S12A series is an outstanding product with revolutionary features. The new Anti-Stall knobs technology changes the way blade design will be done in the future. With all the improvements and enhancements from Noctua, the new NF-S12A series proved to be better in performance the predecessor NF-S12B. Price is a bit higher than stock case fans. But that will bring you silence and better airflow. Plus, I can’t recall of many vendors that offer 6 years warranty.
