NH-L9i
The Noctua NH-L9i was able to maintain 71 degrees Celsius at full load, and 38 degrees Celsius at idle. Now, as I said before Noctua hasn’t designed the NH-L9i to be the best performer on the market, they designed it to replace the stock CPU cooler which tends to be quite loud. I can say that at no point in our testing did we have any issues with sound from our NH-L9i. In fact, we never even heard it at all! That was on an open test bench with nothing to insulate the sound of the CPU cooler!
