Mounting it to an overclocked i5-3570K running at 4.5GHz, we measured a maximum load temperature of just 59C, well below that of most other coolers in the same price range. This performance is nothing to sneeze at, but the fact it’s achieved while remaining nearly silent is what makes this such a winning cooler. If you’ve got the space in your case for such a whopper of a cooler, and don’t mind paying a little extra, the NH-U14S offers brilliant performance, both in terms of temperature and fan noise.
