NH-U14S
The result is extremely quiet during use, regardless of the fact whether it’s in standby or under heavy load. Maximum speed is 1500 rpm, but with the supplied adapter you can limit it to 1200 rpm. For most of processors, even lower speeds will be enough. Still, considering that the fan is absolutely quiet in every setting, the question remains how many users will be able to notice the difference.
"If we were to choose one of the coolers, that would be NH-U14S, which has excellent design, but most importantly, acoustic and thermal performances are not far behind the well-known water-cooling systems. Aside from that, it’s completely silent. We’re completely sure that it presents an excellent investment for future, because there won’t be an upcoming processor that this titan won’t be able to cool." (Nebojsa Todorovic, InsideHW.com)
