NF-S12A FLX,NF-S12A PWM,NF-S12A ULN
There’s a large number of additional technologies implemented in these products that rightfully give them the status of top quality products. As always, we’ll mention the fact that every one of them comes packed with rubber shock absorbers, which decrease the vibration and noise, as well as adapters for working in reduced voltage, with lesser number of revolutions. Of course, PMW model intended for coolers for processors with native 4-pin connection and can be controlled via motherboard. On the other hand, ULN version is branded as “Ultra Low Noise” and works with significantly lesser number of revolutions. They’re ideal for chassis of users that want the lowest possible amount of noise. FLX model is somewhere in between and works with slightly increased number of revolutions, and its primary use is also for chassis and radiators of water-cooling systems. Consequence of working with slightly increased number of revolutions is better performance, at the cost of barely noticeable increase in amount of noise.
"Noctua did a phenomenal job and it’s clear that all of them are great products. Each of the three models are extremely quiet even when chassis is opened next to us. Each of the three coolers has its own purpose, so they should be chosen in that way." (Nebojsa Todorovic, InsideHW.com)
