NH-D15
After allowing the cool down time, we ran another test at full load. While the fans were quiet and barely audible, the temperature registered at 20 degrees Delta T in the lead for the coolest performance at stock settings. Our next phase of testing was to Overclock the FX-9370 to 4.8GHz stable using a core voltage of 1.488v We ran the same tests to gain the idle temps as well as the load temps as before. While the NH-D15 handled just a tad bit higher at 7 degrees Delta T on idle, it handled the Overclock extremely well with only a 2 degree raise pulling ahead and taking a strong lead in performance against its competition.
"The initial appearance of the cooler had me thinking it was going to be close with the performance of the Cryorig cooler, but it did an outstanding job outperforming and blowing it out of the water while utilizing 2 fans as opposed to the Cryorig’s 3 fan setup. While the NH-D15 is smaller then its competitors in its size class, it really showed that it is capable of performing and holding up to the high Noctua standards." (Joe Kershner, PureOverclock.com)
