NH-D15
Other areas such has design and acoustics have also improved. With the NH-D15 having recessed fins on either side it makes it makes it a lot easier to install ram with tall heatsinks, something that caused a major issue with the NH-D14. Acoustics have also improved, the NF-A15’s fans not only have a better cooling performance than the NF-P12 and NF-P14 fans that came with the NH-D14 but also are noticeably quieter, even when the CPU becomes under load the increase in fan speed through its PWM control is barley noticeable which I was really impressed with.
"Let’s start this conclusion by reviewing the NH-D15’s performance and does it perform better than the NH-D14? Well yes is the answer to that question by knocking 3.65°C off the NH-D14. That’s a significant performance increase meaning that not only have Noctua improved performance over the NH-D14, it also brings the NH-D15’s performance on a par with some of the AIO liquid coolers that are currently on the market."
