Taking a look at the results from the 3.5GHz testing, we see that the Noctua coolers were not the top performers; however they are pretty well balanced even keeping up with the Enermax AIO Coolers. While we didn’t expect these to out-perform some of the larger coolers we tested previously, the Noctua NH-D9L and NH-U9S did quite well in push pull configuration and even kept up with the Corsair H100i.
"In terms of performance, at the stock 3.5GHz settings, the coolers held their own ground and performed in the middle of the pack and even kept up with most of the AIO units we tested before. In push pull settings both coolers even kept up with the Corsair H100i by 1 degree. This was rather impressive for such small coolers." (Kenny Ha, PureOverclock.com)
