NH-L9x65
Performance wise, the NH-L9x65 was able to contain an overclocked 4770K with 1.3V of juice pumping through it, only just though. The NH-L9x65 is in no way designed for allowing a massive overclock on a CPU and no one in the know would really use it as such. However, it is nice to know that it can handle a mild overclock with ease and will allow users to get the most out of their CPU, especially if in an ITX gaming builds. Another thing that was nice to see and hear, or rather, not hear, was the noise output of the cooler. The NH-L9x65 was one of the quieter coolers that have been on test so far this year which is great as it means it will be great for HTPC’s as well as standard ITX builds.
"Noctua have done a great job with this cooler and the upgrades have allowed it to offer even better performance while still remaining the perfect size for ITX based systems." (Ben Enos, Play3r.net)
