NH-C12P
With a 125W heat load applied by the AMD K8 version of the FrostyTech synthetic thermal test platform, the Noctua NH-C12P heatsink yields a good rise above ambient temperature at stock fan speed of 19.2°C, with 40.4 dBA noise! With the black fan speed reducer attached the Noctua NH-C12P heatsink, temperatures are maintain at 21.8°C over ambient with 35.6dBA noise. With the blue speed reducer temperatures rise to 24.5°C and noise levels bottom out at 33.2 dBA.
"With its NF-P12 fan, the Noctua NH-C12P heatsink runs pretty quiet at full speed and maintains very good test temperatures. In fact, it performs nearly identical to the Noctual NH-U12P tower heatsink, which also uses a NF-P12 120mm fan." (Max Page, Frostytech.com)
