NH-C14S
The NH-C14S provides the most optimal performance for my PC, considering that I develop games and run a lot of programs and constantly in need of cooling. Without a decent GPU for my 3D, keeping my CPU cool is one of my top priorities. Aside from making my CPU cool, it also minimize the noise coming from my PC. I was actually surprised that a big heatsink with a big fan doesn’t make too much noise. Simply, perfect.
In conclusion, Noctua fans are expensive, but worth the cost. I tend to leave my PC powered for a long time and it doesn’t heat up as much as it would before. It doesn’t slow down after 3 days or more of continuous running, or continuous rendering. To my disbelief, it’s silent, with almost no noise at all. Another point to consider: the NH-C14S keeps RAM cool as well, making the PC run on its optimal power efficiently.
"Between liquid cooling, where you have to maintain the water level and check for leaks from time to time and Noctua heatsink and cooling fans — it’s no-brainer. I’ll go Noctua all the way." (Jing Garcia, )
