I think the D15-S / D15 could arguably be one of the best coolers on the market to date if you don’t feel like picking up an AIO, but with that said I feel the EK Predator is the only real contender in the AIO market. I also feel that with air coolers, they can last a lifetime, and that is one of the biggest reasons to buy an air cooler. One of my systems still runs a Noctua D14 from release and that has never skipped a beat, nor have the fans required replacement. Noctua also have a great history of simply sending out the additional brackets for older boards and releasing new ones, thanks to the Securufirm2 mounting technology you’ll be able to use this cooler for years to come.
