First things first even without the low noise adapters the NH-C12P is VERY quiet to the point that I cannot hear it in my test system, all I can hear are case fans from the HAF932 which is not noisy at all and sits about 12” away from me on a desktop, the LNA and ULNA make virtually no difference to overall system noise, in my set up anyway. Onto the cooling performance, what can I say, I am stunned, I was expecting pretty decent results but nothing like this. The idle results are a nice 5 degrees C improvement on the PWMIC’s but the load results on both the CPU and PWMIC’s are almost unbelievable, I left it running longer than usual and that’s how they stayed.
