NH-C12P
Like I said above, on its low settings, you can not even tell the NH-C12P is running. I had to check twice just to make sure that it did not stop. It was one of those things were you were like " I am sure I plugged it in but let me check to see if I forgot". I got to hand it to Noctua for its silence and its forethought in the packaging and accessories. And my wife loves it as well, she likes to sleep with total silence. I am the exact opposite, I like the TV on and all and I sleep like a baby.
As far as the cooling goes, the benchmarks speak for themselves. I mean only a two and three degree rise in cooling on both systems. I was stunned. I also want to give credit to the thermal paste that Noctua makes because it is just as much a part of cooling as the cooler itself. Noctua has done a very thorough job of not only making a great cooler but ensuring the consumer has everything they need to be successful in installing the cooler.
