NH-D12L
Overall, the NH-D12L is a niche product that is quite expensive for what it offers on the surface; however, when used in the right situation, it can be a stellar performer, and in those situations, be it a Mini-ITX build or 4U rackmount server, I would have no problems recommending it. Those not limited in cooler height by their chassis can pick from a plethora of better options, be it Noctua's very own NH-U12A, NH-D15, or any number of competitors.
