NV-FS1
Noctua’s NV-FS1 is one implementation of the products within Noctua’s HOME range. It comes with a NV-FM1 pivoting fan mount, a compact NA-FC1 fan controller, a NV-PS1 230/115V power supply, and a NF-A12x25 120mm fan with an NV-AA1 airflow amplifier. Separately, these products cost £125, but together they cost around £85 at the time of writing. With his fan set, I can adjust fan speeds using Noctua’s NA-FC1 fan controller, and position the fan optimally with Noctua’s NV-FM1 pivoting fan mount. This fan mount can be attached using magnets, or screwed in place wherever you want to place it. It even comes with screws and wall plugs for wall mounting. With Noctua’s power adapter, it can be powered from any power outlet. As a personal cooling solution, it just works. Noctua’s NF-A12x25 fans can push a lot of air, and do so quietly. Noctua’s NV-AA1 airflow amplifier adds to this by directing the fan’s airflow and adding to it using the venturi effect. If you take the airflow amplifier off Noctua’s NV-FS1 fan set, you will feel the difference.
"If you work with a PC in a stuffy office, this fan set can make the difference between a comfortable working environment, and an unproductive one. How do I know this? I’m using the NV-FS1 right now to mitigate the summer’s heat." (Mark Campbell, Overclock3D.net)
