NH-U12P SE1366
Now for the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366. First off, it is a moderately sized heatsink, not too big and not too small. My next dilemma was one fan or two, I decided to use both. Having used Noctua products in the past, I expected the fan noise to be minimal, but after having the system on for about 5 minutes my girlfriend asked me if I had shut off the computer. I didn’t, so even with the two 120 mm fans running, the system is virtually quiet. [...] As stated earlier, I would expect a good heatsink and fan combo not to exceed more than a 15C (stock) to 20C (performance overclock) rise in temperature from idle to load. With only a 15C rise on a 1GHz overclock, the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 delivers exceptional performance. [...] I'm a creature of habit and always use Arctic Silver 5 as my thermal compound of choice, but this time I used both, first the AS 5 then the Noctua HT-H1 thermal compound, which came with the NH-U12P SE, and was shocked that the temperature differences were between 2 and 3C in favor of the NT-H1.
"The Noctua NH-U12P Special Edition SE1366 is a true performance cooling solution. It's quiet and efficient and, if you decide to use air as a cooling solution, the NH-U12P SE1366 will suit the needs of any mainstreamer or enthusiast who chooses to push their overclocks." (Paul E.
