3DMark06® CPU Score world record with Noctua NH-U12!

Vienna, January 23rd 2006 - Noctua is pleased to announce that Chris Ramseyer, hardware editor in chief of Avault.com, achieved the world's best CPU Score in Futuremark's® popular 3DMark06. Ramseyer is using two passive Noctua NH-U12 heat-sinks for cooling.

Chris Ramseyer overclocked his € 2900 AMD processors to 2702MHz and achieved a CPU Score of 3762 points. Using two passive Noctua NH-U12 heat-sinks, Ramseyer proved that top CPU performance doesn't have to be connected with intricate, loud and non-practical cooling systems: "I would also like to get a little ROI out to Noctua. This system is cooled with two of their NH-U12 heat sinks. The amazing thing is I am using them totally PASSIVE!!!"

Noctua congratulates on the world record!
