Noctua confirms compatibility with AMD FM2
Vienna, October 1st 2012 - Noctua today confirmed the full compatibility of its current CPU coolers with AMD’s new FM2 socket. The SecuFirm2™ AMD mounting system of current Noctua models support AMD’s new platform out of the box and doesn’t require any modifications or upgrades.
As the hole spacing for CPU cooler installation on FM2 is the same as on AM2(+), AM3(+) and FM1, the following Noctua CPU coolers since 2006 are fully compatible with the new sockets:
