Noctua presents NH-U coolers
Vienna, October 25th 2005 - Noctua today introduced the new ultra high-end CPU coolers NH-U12 and NH-U9, which have been developed in cooperation with the Austrian Institute of Heat Transmission and Fan Technology (Österreichisches Institut für Wärmeübertragung und Ventilatorentechnik, ÖIWV) and Kolink International Corporation. Both coolers possess 4 Dual-Heat-Pipes, 38 aluminium cooling fins as well as high-grade soldered joints for optimal heat-transfer and achieve superior performance both in silent- and high-performance cooling.
"The NH-U coolers are aimed at users with extremely high demands on performance and quality such as overclockers who strive for maximum cooling performance or those who want to cool their processors as silently as possible", explains Mag. Roland Mossig, CEO of the general distributor Rascom. Thanks to the enormous surface area of more than 5000cm² (NH-U12) and 3800cm² (NH-U9) as well as the application of large 120mm (NH-U12) and 92mm (NH-U9) fans, NH-U coolers are especially suitable for all fields of application where maximum performance at minimum noise levels is required.
Both coolers are compatible with all current sockets (Intel 478 & LGA, AMD K8) and come with all required parts as well as a detailed installation manual in English, German, French and Spanish. The warranty period of 3 years can be extended to 5 years by joining the "Noctua Extended Warranty Program", which requires a free, one time registration.

International distribution is carried out by Rascom Computerdistribution Ges.m.b.H. Both models are already available in limited quantities. Full volume quantities will be in stock by the end of November.
