It’s clear to be seen that Noctua’s NT-H1 thermal compound is a top performer. Contrary to popular belief that Arctic Silver 5 is still the top performing thermal compound, today’s results have proven that there are numerous compounds on the market that either perform as well if not better than AS5. The NT-H1 paste steadily outperformed all the other pastes under testing and has proven why Noctua are so well appreciated in the hardware community. At a minimum of 1C cooler than the other pastes under full load and a full 2.5C cooler than AS5, NT-H1 can be held up as high performance, no nonsense thermal compound that is worthy of recognition.
