NF-B9
Both of these fans work at the same 1600RPM speeds, but when you look at the noise level, the Noctua is completely inaudible and on the SilentX you can hear a little buzzing noise from its motor. But now the interesting part is that the Noctua NF-B9 was able to keep up with the SilentX at only 1100RPM while the SilentX was running at 1600RPM and they still got the same temperatures.
"I recommend this fan to anybody who wants to use extremely quiet computers while keeping them nice and cool." (Peter Kapas, Mikhailtech.com)
