The NH-U14S AMP-4926 is a 140mm size premium quality quiet CPU cooler for ARM workstations and servers that utilise LGA4926-based Ampere Altra and Altra Max processors. Built on the proven basis of the DX and TR5-SP6 models, the AMP-4926 version of the cooler has been tailored to Ampere’s LGA4926 platform with regards to both its customised contact surface and its dedicated SecuFirm2™ mounting system. Thanks to its massive heatsink and two of Noctua’s award-winning, PWM controlled NF-A15 140mm fans, the NH-U14S AMP-4926 achieves maximum performance and superb acoustics. Its direction of airflow is perpendicular to the long axis of the socket, so it is ideal for systems where the hot air is exhausted this way. Topped off with the pre-applied NT-H2 thermal compound, it forms a complete premium quality package for quietly cooling Ampere Altra and Altra Max workstations and servers.

AMP-4926 series for Ampere Altra and Altra Max
Noctua’s AMP-4926 series CPU coolers for LGA4926-based Ampere Altra and Altra Max processors are built on the proven basis of its renowned models for Intel Xeon and AMD Epyc/Threadripper. As such, they bring the same unique combination of excellent cooling performance, superb quietness of operation and thoroughgoing premium quality to Ampere’s ARM platform.
Customised contact surface
Ampere’s LGA4926 platform features an unusual socket design with a cover that is higher than the contact surface of the CPU, which means that the contact surface of the heatsink must fit into the cut-out of the socket cover. The base of Noctua’s AMP-4926 series coolers have been customised precisely for this purpose, ensuring an exact fit to maximise thermal transfer.
140mm size for maximum performance
With six heatpipes, a fin surface area of more than 6000cm² and two highly optimised NF-A15 140mm fans, the NH-U14S AMP-4926 provides a superior level of quiet cooling efficiency. This makes it ideal for building cutting-edge, ultra high-performance Ampere workstations that run almost silent.
Dual NF-A15 140mm premium fans
The NH-U14S AMP-4926 is equipped with two of Noctua’s award-winning NF-A15 140mm fans. This powerful push/pull dual fan configuration allows it to achieve an unrivalled level of quiet cooling performance and makes it the first choice for workstations that require the best possible cooler, period.
PWM support and splitter cable
The renowned NF-A15 HS-PWM premium fans supplied with the NH-U14S AMP-4926 support PWM for convenient automatic speed control through the motherboard, which allows them to run near silent at lighter loads and speed up only when necessary. The supplied splitter cable makes it possible to power and control both fans simultaneously from a single motherboard fan header.
SecuFirm2™ mounting for LGA4926
Noctua’s AMP-4926 coolers feature a dedicated SecuFirm2™ mounting system for LGA4926. Installation is just as easy as with TR5-SP6 or TR4-SP3 models: Put on the heatsink, fix the four spring-loaded Allen key screws using the supplied tool and you’re done!
Pre-applied NT-H2 thermal compound
Noctua’s much-acclaimed NT-H2 is a pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance and outstanding long-term stability. Having the paste pre-applied to the heatsink base ensures optimal bond-line thickness and saves precious time in installation. Ideal for system integrators!
